  • 2 cups Chocolate Cookie Crumbs Crushed Oreos or any chocolate cookies.
  • 1/2 cup Butter Unsalted butter, melted.

For the filling

  • 8 oz Cream Cheese Make sure it's at room temperature.
  • 1/2 cup Powdered Sugar To add sweetness and stabilize.
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream Whipped to soft peaks.
  • 1 tsp Peppermint Extract Use sparingly as it is potent.
  • 1/2 cup Chocolate Chips Optional; semi-sweet recommended.

For the topping

  • 1 cup Whipped Cream Store-bought or homemade.
  • 1/2 cup Crushed Peppermint Candies For garnish.

Instructions
 

Prepare the Crust

  • Mix chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter until it resembles wet sand.
  • Press mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a pie pan.
  • Refrigerate the crust while preparing the filling.

Make the Filling

  • In a bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth.
  • Gradually add powdered sugar and mix until fluffy.
  • Whip heavy cream until soft peaks form, then carefully fold into the cream cheese mixture.
  • Add peppermint extract and mix until well combined.

Assemble the Pie

  • Pour the peppermint filling into the prepared crust and smooth the top.
  • Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least four hours or overnight.

Finishing Touches

  • Before serving, whip fresh cream and top the pie.
  • Garnish with crushed peppermint candies.
