  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix Transforms the dish with bold flavors.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Brings an extra decadent touch.
  • to taste salt and pepper Simple seasonings that can elevate the dish.
  • optional fresh herbs for garnish Parsley or cilantro add a pop of color and freshness.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Place the frozen or fresh chicken breasts directly into the bottom of your crockpot.
  • Take the block of cream cheese and place it on top of the chicken.
  • Pour in the chicken broth to help create a beautiful sauce.
  • Sprinkle the ranch seasoning over the top.

Cooking

  • Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is tender.
  • Once tender, shred the chicken with two forks right in the pot.
  • Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until it melts completely.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Garnish with fresh herbs if desired and serve warm.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in airtight containers in the fridge for up to 4 days. This dish can be frozen for up to a month. Make a batch for meal prep for hassle-free dinners throughout the week.
