For the glaze

  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese Ensure it's softened for easy mixing.
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar Mix with cream cheese for sweetness.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  • In a smaller bowl, whisk together milk, egg, and melted butter until smooth.
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  • In a separate bowl, mix together cinnamon and brown sugar.

Cooking

  • Preheat a griddle or non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a little butter to it.
  • Pour about 1/3 cup of batter onto the hot surface for each pancake.
  • Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the batter and swirl it in using a toothpick or knife.
  • Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown.

Making the glaze

  • In a small bowl, mix together cream cheese, powdered sugar, and a splash of milk until smooth and creamy.
  • Drizzle over warm pancakes before serving.

Notes
